The Business Intelligence project at Q8 may be divided into three projects:

Drawing a complete new Data Warehouse model for the track site-activity of Q8 Petroleum.

The second project involved the development of a showcase for advanced reporting with several BI tools such as: SAP Business Objects WebI 3.1, SAP Business Objects Deski, SAP Business Objects Live Office, SAP Business Objects WebI 4.0.

Rebuilding a huge universe for reporting purposes by defining new classes, objects, measures, joins, contexts,… was the third part.

During my international project in France, my mission was to establish the data flow between SAP BW (Business Warehouse) and SAP BO (Business Objects) using BeX Query. The project was won after some pre-sales actions I did. After the setup, I started optimizing the universes. In the next phase, I gave the client training on how everything was integrated and what the functionalities were in terms of querying, reporting and the integration between SAP CRM and SAP BO using Open Doc.

A French international hypermarket chain decided to outsource the handling of their targeting & analysis – related campaign results and other supplier relationship management requests to Keyrus.

My mission was to transform raw data into statistic or data files using SAS Base, SAS Macro, SAS SQL and Microsoft Pivot Tables.
I was responsible for the pre analyses. The pre analyses are important to check whether it is interesting to launch the marketing campaign. These analyses are based on historical data in the Data warehouse and manipulated with SAS Base code. The analyses contained a pool of the most ‘valuable’ customers for that specific campaign based on historical data and cross selling.

I studied Information Management. My education covers a whole spectrum of things to improve the business activities in terms of revenue, ROE, cashflow, ...
